5-Layer Printing in Colorado M series, Mimaki UCJV300 and HP Latex 700 / 800

Certain printers, like the Colorado M series, Mimaki UCJV300 and HP Latex 700 / 800, support 5-layer printing modes in 1 pass by overprinting a total of 5 layers of color + white + blocker + white + color. Different images (or the same) can be shown on the front and back on a single sheet of media, all printable in one process.

PrintFactory integrates directly with ChromaChecker.

User Rights

PrintFactory’s user rights settings provide control over the access levels and functionality available to different users within the application. Starting from Version V6.6.0, this feature allows account owners to customize user access rights to ensure appropriate permissions.

By default, all users within an account have full access rights.

With this granular user rights system, PrintFactory offers flexibility and control over user access, ensuring that each individual has the appropriate level of functionality within the application.

White Point Correction Tool in Calibrator allows for a PMM to be recalibrated with a newly measured white point. This saves the user making a new pmm.

Other New Features include:

• Double Sided in Layout : When working with double-sided layouts, if you have cropped or scaled the image on the A side, the option to crop or scale the B side to match the A side will be available when you choose to generate the B side.

• Customisable Crop marks in Layout: In the Layout feature, you have the ability to customize the crop marks according to your preferences. This includes defining the length and thickness of the crop marks to suit your specific requirements.

• Option to choose label position in Layout: In the Layout feature, users now have the flexibility to choose the position of labels. They can opt to place labels on all sides or select specific sides of an image or nest. This allows for greater control and customization when labeling elements within the layout.

• 3D and 2D gamut viewer in the profiling wizard. 

• You now have the ability to edit any Cut job in the Job Info section of the RIP. When you make changes to the job, such as modifying the cut tool, re-ripping the job will automatically apply the updated settings. This ensures that the job reflects the new changes you’ve made.
